Mint leaves (Pudina) is one of the widely used aromatic plants known for its flavor and medicinal properties. Pudina is one of the chief ingredients in Ayurvedic formulations and medications.
Currently, many edible products like candies, mouth fresheners and chewing gums use mint as the main ingredient due to its popularity. Toothpaste and mouthwashes also contain mint. Dried mint leaves or/and even the fresh ones can be used for this recipe. To make fresh mint tea, put a few fresh mint leaves in boiling water and boil it for a while. Steep it for a minute, then strain it and enjoy it. To make a tea of dried mint leaves, take some dried mint leaves and add it to boiling water. Steep it for about 10 minutes. Strain it and drink. Drinking 2-3 cups of mint tea a day can promote quicker weight loss.
3. Adding mint To Food
Take a few fresh mint leaves, and use it to garnish your favorite salads. Top up your lemonade with mint leaves for a touch of freshness. It prevents bloating and also helps in weight loss.
