American Independence day, better called “Fourth of July” is an annual celebration of the independence of nationhood. The 4th of July 2022 is marked as a national holiday in the United States. The declaration of independence was done by the continental congress on July 4, 1776. The developed country got its independence from Great Britain. Talking about independence day USA history, the declaration was originally drafted by Thomas Jefferson in consultation with his fellow committee members Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, William Livingston, and Roger Sherman.

The day is annually celebrated by oratory, solemn processions, bonfires, bell ringing, and people painted in blue, white, and red. Such celebrations played an important role in the Anglo-American political tradition. That was the last day when people in slavery got their freedom after federal troops arrived in Texas. This was to enforce the decree that all the enslaved people be freed.

The major celebrations took place in the United States of America. Sadly, due to heavy drinking, many injuries are caused by reckless driving and unsafe fireworks in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
