After a Material You redesign rollout in December, Google TV Home Screen Widget For Android is ready to be used! Having updated version 4.38.7.4 in December, Google TV is now appearing on the phone’s widgets list. However, it is clearly not ready. Moreover, the preview says the default size has been 4×5 and it cannot go smaller than that when a user places it on the home screen. However, it can take almost your entire screen space. As of now, you get a short bar where the app is flanked by search (opens your keyboard) and also the remote shortcuts. In addition, tapping the center opens the app’s Home tab.
